“Magnetic” makes you feel like a little kid lying on the floor of the living room and staring at the ceiling, watching the light glimmering and fracturing into a rainbow, coming up with stories about the dancing lights and shadows. It’s like ILLIT went into your closet and found the fluffy blanket you used to love as a kid but forgot about, and then threw it over you so you could wrap yourself in it. And I think that’s not just impressive for a group to get on their debut, but important – sometimes, you just need something gosh dang whimsical. ILLIT are the queens of that – when you’re watching “Magnetic”, you feel wonder.
